in today’s “what the f*ck are you smoking” news….
I can’t stand Jay Z as a person. Yes I said it. When I did my last broadcast on Tuesday dedicated to celebrity bandwagon jumpers and focused on his arrogant ass… I did so for a reason.
When I saw him “show up” in “support” of Trayvon Martin I knew it was only because of the backlash behind the horrible and disrespectful comments made to civil Rights pioneer Harry Belafonte.
Belafonte recently criticized celebrities like Jay z for not being aware or even caring about social justice issues. As a true activist Harry knows these celebs will jump on any tragedy of the moment as a good PR tactic.
Hollerin like a hit dog, Jay Z recorded a track where he bashed Belafonte, calls him “boy” and basically told him to mind his business.
After that of course, us REAL revolutionaries made noise about it and two weeks later, this negro is posted up in the pics with Trayvon’s mother like he actually cares.
Negro Please! We see through your jive ass like glass.
Now to add insult to injury this sanctified mofo is doing interviews about “black kids like Trayvon” like he actually cares. Ask him about a kid that died before Trayvon and I bet you all you hear is “uuuhhhhh”…. Ask him what he’s doing for Chicago… Has he built one school??? And let’s not forget about his “Occupy Wall Street” scandal.
Then today Colorlines reports this camel faced hussy actually had the audacity to say just his mere presence ALONE is charity…. And I quote….
“Jay Z had this to say in response to Harry Belafone’s recent criticism that today’s celebrities ignore social justice.
I’m offended by that because first of all, and this is going to sound arrogant, but my presence is charity. Just who I am. Just like Obama’s is. Obama provides hope. Whether he does anything, the hope that he provides for a nation, and outside of America is enough. Just being who he is. You’re the first black president. If he speaks on any issue or anything he should be left alone…I felt Belafonte he just went about it wrong. Like the way he did it in the media, and then he big’d up Bruce Springsteen or somebody. And it was like, “whoa,” you just sent the wrong message all the way around…Bruce Springsteen is a great guy. You’re this Civil Rights activist and you just big’d up the white guy against me in the white media. And I’m not saying that in a racial way. I’m just saying what it is. The fact of what it was. And that was just the wrong way to go about it.”
Now he provides us minions hope with just his mere presence, like Obama???? and we should immediately take his acknowledgement of ONE murdered Black child as wonderful charity???
A pic with him is enough to promote world peace and end racism? Is this really all it takes to change the problems in our community? A photo op?
Did he say that to Trayvons’s parents
Before or after that photo op?
I can see the commercial now. “Because Jay Z took a pic with me, everyone put their guns down, my daddy came home, people stopped pissing in project elevators and the KuKluxKlan disbanded.”
FUCK Jay Z. Expeditiously.
